A trade show booth is 12+ different print products coordinated to a single deadline at a venue with hard load-in windows. This guide walks through what each component is, what material to print it on, and when it needs to be done.

Backdrops & SEG fabric walls

Modular SEG (silicone edge graphic) systems are the current standard for 8x10 and 10x20 booths. Dye-sublimated tension fabric, reprintable, lightweight, ships flat. Cost: $400–$1,400 per panel. Lead: 7–10 business days; 3–5 day rush available with surcharge.

Hanging signs

Hanging signs require venue-specific rigging approval (LVCC, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Forum each have their own forms and deadlines). Production is dye-sub fabric on aluminum or LED-backlit. Lead: 3 weeks for first-time builds; 7–10 days for reprints from existing structure.

Retractables, table throws, podium wraps

The booth ‘consumables’ — order extras. Standard retractable: $180–$350. Table throw with print on all four sides + top: $300–$800. Podium wrap: $200–$450. Lead: 3–5 business days; same-day available with morning cutoff.

Floor & wall graphics

Floor graphics need anti-slip laminate (R10 rated) and the venue’s adhesive approval. Wall graphics use removable vinyl with adhesive approval. Both: 5–7 day lead, 48-hour rush on approved venues.

Install logistics

Vegas venues open load-in 24–48 hours before show open. Booths over 10x10 generally require professional install (union or vendor crew depending on venue). Confirm credentials, vehicle access, and load-in window before quoting. We’re credentialed at LVCC, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Forum, Sphere, and Allegiant.

The deadline backwards-plan

Show open Tuesday → install Monday → freight cleared Sunday → production complete Friday → proofs approved Wednesday → quote and PO Monday prior. That’s 8 business days minimum for a clean build with no rush fees. Anything tighter is a rush, and anything tighter than 5 days is a Vegas-only job.

Can a trade show booth be produced in under a week in Vegas?+
Yes, often in 3–5 business days for a full 10x20 build if SEG hardware is in stock and artwork is press-ready on Day 1. Less than 3 days is rush territory and requires same-day cutoffs.
Do I need union install at LVCC?+
Depends on booth size and components. Booths under 200 sqft can typically be self-installed; over that, union install is generally required. We coordinate the labor.
