Agency

What margin should we hold on production?+

Industry-standard agency margin on production is 15–35% depending on category, scope, and risk. Custom fabrication and on-site activation carry higher margin than catalog merch.

Source: Agency-side: choosing a white-label print production partner
Can a production partner sign an exclusivity clause?+

Yes for named clients and named campaigns. Blanket category exclusivity is rare and usually requires committed annual spend to make sense for either side.

Source: Agency-side: choosing a white-label print production partner
Should we have one production partner or several?+

One primary partner with proven category breadth (apparel, signage, large-format, on-site activation) plus 1–2 specialized partners (fabrication, tech integration) is the typical structure for a mid-sized experiential agency.

Source: Experiential agencies: what to demand from a production partner
How do we structure a retainer with a production partner?+

Minimum capacity reserve (X labor hours / month) with overflow billed at standard rate. This guarantees you priority during peak periods without paying for unused capacity.

Apparel

Which lasts the longest in the wash?+

Embroidery (outlasts the garment), then quality screen printing (50+ washes), then DTF (40+ washes on properly cured transfers).

Source: Screen printing vs DTF vs embroidery: how to pick
Can I mix methods on the same job?+

Yes — embroidered logo on the chest, screen-printed graphic on the back, DTF for the player number. Common in team and corporate apparel.

Category

Brand Compliance

Can a single Pantone really hold across all decoration methods?+

Within a Delta E of 2–3, yes, if every method is bridged to the same master and proofed before production. Outside that range you need separate spec'd targets per method, documented in your brand book.

Source: Color and brand-standard compliance across print methods
What's the cost of a spec'd color program?+

Setup is a one-time investment per SKU (typically $150–$400 per method for proofing and archival). Per-unit cost is the same as standard production. The cost of NOT doing it is brand drift, complaints, and reorders.

Decision Guides

Is DTF or screen printing cheaper per shirt?+

Depends on quantity and color count. Under ~50 pieces or 3+ colors, DTF is cheaper. Over ~100 pieces of a 1–2 color design, screen is cheaper. Between 50–100, it's close enough that turnaround and fabric usually decide.

Source: DTF vs Screen Printing in Las Vegas: which one should you actually use?
Does DTF feel as soft as screen printing?+

Modern DTF is softer than older heat transfers but still has a slight film hand. Screen printing with water-based or discharge ink has the softest hand of any decoration method.

Source: DTF vs Screen Printing in Las Vegas: which one should you actually use?
Can DTF print on polyester and performance fabric?+

Yes — DTF prints cleanly on polyester, tri-blends, performance fabrics, and most synthetics. This is one of its biggest advantages over screen printing for athleisure and performance apparel.

Source: DTF vs Screen Printing in Las Vegas: which one should you actually use?
Which lasts longer through commercial laundry?+

Both are commercial-laundry safe when properly applied. Screen printing with cured plastisol typically edges out DTF on multi-year uniform programs; DTF holds up well in the 1–2 year range.

Source: DTF vs Screen Printing in Las Vegas: which one should you actually use?
Is embroidery or DTG more durable for staff uniforms?+

Embroidery, by a wide margin. Properly underlaid stitching on poly thread is the most durable apparel decoration on the market and is the standard for hospitality uniform programs that get washed weekly.

Source: Embroidery vs DTG in Las Vegas: which one for your corporate apparel program?
Can DTG print on caps or polos?+

DTG can't print on caps at all — the curved structure doesn't fit the platen. Polos are possible but the collar and placket make consistent placement difficult; embroidery is the standard for both.

Source: Embroidery vs DTG in Las Vegas: which one for your corporate apparel program?
Which is cheaper for a 100-piece corporate gift order?+

Roughly comparable on first run. Embroidery wins on reorders because digitizing is a one-time cost and stitch files are reusable forever; DTG cost stays flat per piece regardless of run count.

Source: Embroidery vs DTG in Las Vegas: which one for your corporate apparel program?
What's the difference between same-day and rush?+

Same-day means finished product in hand by 5pm the same business day with art approved before the published cutoff. Rush means faster than standard 7–10 day turnaround (typically 48–72 hours) but not same-day. Different cost structures and different lead times.

Source: Same-day vs rush printing in Las Vegas: what's the real difference?
How much extra does same-day printing cost in Las Vegas?+

Typically 30–60% over standard pricing depending on quantity and decoration method. Some same-day work (like DTF transfers on stocked blanks) carries no rush fee at all if you hit the cutoff with clean art.

Source: Same-day vs rush printing in Las Vegas: what's the real difference?
What's the latest I can place a same-day order?+

At our shop: 9am cutoff for screen, 11am for DTF, 10am for embroidery, 10am for large-format signage. After cutoff, the work shifts to 24–48 hour rush rather than same-day.

Source: Same-day vs rush printing in Las Vegas: what's the real difference?
Do rush fees apply if I miss the cutoff by an hour?+

Usually no — if you miss the same-day cutoff by a few hours, the job typically runs next-day with priority routing at standard pricing. Real same-day fees apply when capacity is reserved specifically for your job.

Enterprise Programs

What's the minimum scale for an enterprise apparel program to make sense?+

Roughly $150K/year in apparel and merch spend, or 5+ business units placing decoration orders. Below that, a governed catalog still helps but managed inventory may not pencil out.

Source: How to build an enterprise apparel program (and what to demand from your vendor)
Should we single-source or multi-source?+

Single-source for catalog and compliance, multi-source only for regional fulfillment if you operate across continents. Splitting decoration vendors guarantees color drift.

Source: How to build an enterprise apparel program (and what to demand from your vendor)
How much should we expect to save by consolidating to one production partner?+

Typical savings are 10–20% on direct cost plus an additional 5–10% on freight and operational overhead, depending on starting fragmentation.

Source: Managing a Fortune 500 merch program without losing brand control
Who owns the catalog — brand team or vendor?+

Brand team owns it. Vendor enforces it and recommends quarterly adjustments based on usage and cost data.

Category

Fulfillment

Can we integrate to our HRIS or CRM directly?+

Yes via API or Zapier — onboarding kits triggered from Workday, executive gifting triggered from Salesforce. Implementation typically takes 2–4 weeks.

Source: Managed inventory and kitting for brand programs
What's the minimum scale for managed inventory to pencil out?+

Roughly 500+ picks per year or $50K+ in annual program spend. Below that, on-demand production without held inventory is usually more efficient.

Global Brands

Is air freight from Vegas cost-competitive with regional production?+

For tours under 12 cities with tight creative timelines, yes — typically within 5–10% of distributed production cost with materially better consistency.

Source: Producing global brand pop-ups from a Las Vegas base
Can a Vegas production partner deploy crews internationally?+

Yes for North America. International deployments are typically coordinated with local certified install partners under the production partner's QC standards.

Hospitality

How long does a full multi-property brand refresh take?+

Typical timeline is 9–18 months for a 10–30 property portfolio — pilot in months 1–3, sequenced rollout in months 4–18, with parallel uniform and signage tracks.

Source: Multi-property hotel and resort brand print rollouts
Should we replace all signage at once or as it wears?+

Guest-facing signage should replace on a sequenced rollout to maintain brand consistency. Operational and back-of-house can wear-replace to control budget impact.

Source: Multi-property hotel and resort brand print rollouts
Should we own uniforms or rent?+

Branded gaming-floor and front-of-house uniforms are typically owned. BOH chef apparel and aprons are often rented for laundry-integrated service. Hybrid programs are common.

Source: Casino uniform programs: the operator's checklist
Can one vendor service multiple casino properties under one program?+

Yes — preferred when properties share brand standards. Single-vendor consolidation typically saves 10–18% versus property-by-property procurement.

Can you print on both sides?+

Yes. Double-sided banners use blockout vinyl to prevent show-through, printed on each side.

Source: Large Format Poster & Banner Printing
How long does a building wrap take?+

From quote to install, typically 4–8 weeks including permits. The print itself is 5–10 business days; the rest is engineering and permit timeline.

Source: Building Wraps & Exterior Graphics
What's the cost?+

Building wraps run $4–$10 per square foot for material, plus installation (heavily dependent on access and rigging). A 2,000 sq ft single-story building wrap typically lands $25–$50K all-in.

Yes. Water-based latex inks meet UL Greenguard Gold standards for indoor air quality, including hospitals and schools.

Source: Large Format Digital Printing
What's the difference between latex and solvent printing?+

Latex is water-based, odor-free, and immediately handleable. Solvent inks (now mostly phased out) had stronger outdoor durability but heavy off-gassing. Modern latex with overlaminate matches solvent durability without the off-gassing.

Live Activations

Is live screen printing more expensive than just handing out shirts?+

Per unit, yes. Per impression and per qualified lead, often dramatically cheaper. Engagement minutes (the time someone spends at your booth) are the real metric.

Source: How much does live screen printing cost in 2026?
How many shirts can a live press produce per hour?+

A single-color screen press with a trained operator and a second crew member runs 60–80 shirts per hour sustainably. Multi-color screens drop that proportionally. Multi-station builds can hit 360 units/hour.

Source: How much does live screen printing cost in 2026?
Can live and pre-print be the same garment?+

Yes — pre-print the base brand layer, add live customization (event name, attendee name, custom art) at the booth. Operationally cleanest approach for major activations.

Source: On-site event printing vs pre-print: when each wins
What's the live production rate per hour?+

Single-station screen: 60–80 garments/hour. Single-station DTF: 30–50 garments/hour. Single-head embroidery: 20–30 garments/hour. Multi-station builds scale proportionally.

When should we contract a production partner for F1 Las Vegas?+

By July for a November race. Production capacity across all credentialed Vegas vendors books out by late August. After that you're competing for rush slots.

Source: Producing brand activations for F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
Can you produce inside the paddock?+

Inside-paddock production requires F1 credentialing and is generally restricted to official sponsors and series partners. We produce in our facility and deliver credentialed crews for install.

Procurement

Do all Vegas print shops carry this coverage?+

No. Most local shops carry $1M/$2M general liability and no umbrella, which is below the bar for Fortune 500 procurement and below LVCC's exhibitor-vendor requirement for installs above a certain scope.

Source: COI-insured print vendors: what brand-side teams should require
How fast can a vendor issue a venue-specific COI?+

Same business day for established carriers. If your vendor needs 72 hours to issue a COI, that's a sign their insurance relationship is light.

Source: COI-insured print vendors: what brand-side teams should require
Should we ask for case studies?+

Yes, but require named references not redacted ones. A real production partner has clients willing to take a procurement call.

Source: The RFP checklist for a real print production partner
Is lowest price the right selection criteria?+

No. Lowest price selects vendors who under-spec materials, under-staff install, and over-promise rush capacity. Weight cost at 30–40% of the total scorecard, not 70%.

Rush & Same-Day

How late can I get same-day apparel in Vegas?+

With approved artwork in by our published cutoff (9am screen, 11am DTF, 10am embroidery), garments are ready for pickup or delivery by 5pm same business day.

Source: Same-day printing in Las Vegas: what actually works
What if I miss the cutoff?+

Next-day production with priority routing. You don't pay a rush fee for next-day if you missed by a few hours.

Source: Same-day printing in Las Vegas: what actually works
What rush surcharge is reasonable?+

0% for next-day with morning art approval. 15–25% for same-day with cutoff met. 50%+ for after-cutoff with cleared shop time. Anything over 50% on a job with normal lead is a vendor overcharging.

Source: Enterprise rush production: SLA-backed capacity
Can we reserve weekend production capacity?+

Yes through a retained-capacity agreement. Weekend production typically carries a 25–40% premium even under retainer.

Sustainability

Is sustainable apparel meaningfully more expensive?+

GOTS-certified organic cotton runs roughly 15–30% above conventional. RPET runs at parity or slightly above. The cost gap has narrowed substantially since 2023.

Source: Sustainable print and apparel procurement for enterprise programs
How do we avoid greenwashing in our merch program?+

Require certifications and material specs in your RFP. Avoid vendors that lead with 'eco' marketing language but can't produce certificates. Document everything for your ESG reporting.

Trade Show

How far in advance should I order trade show graphics?+

Standard lead time is 2–3 weeks from approved artwork. Rush production at 5–7 days is available on most products. Same-week emergency printing is possible for booth panels and banners — call us. For shows requiring custom fabricated structures, allow 4–6 weeks.

Source: Trade Show & Convention Graphics in Las Vegas
Can you install at the convention center?+

Yes. We're a credentialed install vendor at LVCC, Mandalay Bay, and Caesars Forum. We coordinate directly with show services, handle freight, and meet drayage windows so your team isn't dealing with logistics on show day.

Source: Trade Show & Convention Graphics in Las Vegas
What's the price difference between fabric and vinyl backdrops?+

Fabric SEG (silicone edge graphics) typically run 20–35% more than equivalent vinyl banners but pack smaller, install faster, and look more premium under booth lighting. For repeat shows, fabric pays back within 2–3 uses through reduced shipping cost alone.

Source: Trade Show & Convention Graphics in Las Vegas
Do you handle on-site changes?+

Yes. We have a same-day reprint capability for booths that arrive damaged or with last-minute artwork changes. Local pickup at our shop or rush delivery to the convention floor.

Source: Trade Show & Convention Graphics in Las Vegas
Can you re-skin our existing booth structure?+

Yes. Send us your structure dimensions or model number; we produce replacement graphics that fit your existing frame.

Source: Trade Show Booth Graphics & Wraps
What's the largest single panel you can print?+

Our roll-to-roll capacity is 120 inches wide x continuous length. For booth back-walls larger than 10 ft, we panelize seamlessly.

Source: Trade Show Booth Graphics & Wraps
Can you produce both the booth structure and the graphics?+

We focus on print. We partner with two trusted exhibit houses for fabricated booth structures and can quote both together as a single project.

Source: Trade Show Booth Graphics & Wraps
Can we ship our booth from out of state and have you install it here?+

Yes. Many of our clients are out-of-town exhibitors who use us purely for local install services. Ship to our facility, we receive, store, and deliver to your booth space on the show schedule.

Source: Convention Booth Wraps
Can you store our booth between shows?+

Yes. We offer secure trade-show booth storage at our facility for clients who run multiple Las Vegas shows per year. Cost is meaningfully lower than shipping back to your home city.

Source: Convention Booth Wraps
What does install actually cost?+

Booth install is quoted per square foot and per hour, depending on complexity. A typical 20x20 island booth wrap installs in 4–6 hours; figure $1,200–$2,400 for install on a standard wrap that size.

Source: Convention Booth Wraps
How fast can you print a banner?+

Standard production is 3–5 business days. Rush is 24–48 hours on most banners. True same-day is possible for in-stock material — call us.

Source: Event Banners & Large Format Signage
Will outdoor banners survive the Vegas heat?+

Yes, with the right material. We use 13–18 oz scrim vinyl rated for outdoor use up to 5 years and recommend mesh banners for long-term outdoor installs to handle wind.

Source: Event Banners & Large Format Signage
Can you install hanging banners at the convention center?+

Yes. Hanging-banner install at LVCC and Mandalay Bay requires a licensed rigger. We coordinate the print, the rigging crew, and the show-services paperwork as a single quote.

Source: Event Banners & Large Format Signage
What's the standard step-and-repeat size?+

8 ft x 8 ft is the most common size. 10 ft x 8 ft accommodates larger group photos. Custom sizes are quoted to your venue dimensions.

Source: Custom Backdrop Prints for Events

Yes. Frame rental is $150–$400 depending on size and system, plus the printed graphic. Saves significant cost vs. owning the hardware for a single event.

Source: Custom Backdrop Prints for Events
How long does setup take?+

A typical 8x8 SEG backdrop sets up in under 10 minutes by one person with no tools. Pillowcase pop-ups deploy even faster. Pole-and-drape takes 20–30 minutes.

Source: Custom Backdrop Prints for Events
Can you print on rented show furniture?+

Not directly — show services prohibits adhesive on rented furniture. We produce removable magnetic panels or custom counter wraps that meet show services rules.

Source: Trade Show Display Printing
What's the cheapest way to upgrade a small booth?+

Three items: a printed table throw, two retractable banners, and floor decals at the booth entry. Total under $1,200, and the booth reads completely differently.

Source: Trade Show Display Printing
Do you produce trade show shipping crates?+

We don't manufacture crates but partner with two case-makers and can quote the print and the case together if helpful.

Trade Shows

Can a trade show booth be produced in under a week in Vegas?+

Yes, often in 3–5 business days for a full 10x20 build if SEG hardware is in stock and artwork is press-ready on Day 1. Less than 3 days is rush territory and requires same-day cutoffs.

Source: Trade show booth printing: the complete production guide
Do I need union install at LVCC?+

Depends on booth size and components. Booths under 200 sqft can typically be self-installed; over that, union install is generally required. We coordinate the labor.

Source: Trade show booth printing: the complete production guide
How early should we contract for CES?+

By September for January CES. Vegas production capacity locks for CES in October. Booths above 20x20 with hanging signs need rigging approval submitted to LVCC by mid-November.

Source: Choosing a CES production partner: the brand-side checklist
Can we use our existing booth hardware?+

Yes. We refurb existing SEG frames, reprint graphics to current brand standards, and store between shows. Refurb is typically 30–50% the cost of new build.

Source: Choosing a CES production partner: the brand-side checklist
What's the cost difference between advance and direct-to-show freight?+

Direct-to-show drayage typically runs 30–60% higher than advance warehouse drayage, plus you carry the risk of late arrival missing your target install window.

Source: LVCC load-in: a print vendor's actual playbook
Can you produce in Vegas and skip freight entirely?+

Yes — local production means you load to a truck the morning of install, drive to the assigned LVCC dock, and clear drayage at minimum rates. This is the single biggest reason brand teams contract a Vegas-based production partner for LVCC shows.

Wall Wraps

How much does a commercial wall wrap cost?+

Most commercial wall wraps run $8–$18 per square foot, fully installed, depending on substrate, material, and surface complexity. A 10x10 ft reception wall typically lands between $800 and $1,800. We give written estimates with no surprises.

Source: Commercial Wall Wraps in Las Vegas
Will a wall wrap damage my paint?+

Not if it's installed on properly cured paint with a removable adhesive vinyl. Our installers use 3M Controltac and Avery removable films rated for clean removal up to 5 years. We always test a corner before committing on rented or sensitive surfaces.

Source: Commercial Wall Wraps in Las Vegas
How long does install take?+

A standard 100 sq ft wall is a 2–4 hour install for a two-person crew. Large murals or textured surfaces take longer. We schedule around your operating hours so the space stays usable.

Source: Commercial Wall Wraps in Las Vegas
Can I update the wrap later?+

Yes. That's the entire point. Removable vinyl peels off cleanly within its rated lifespan, and we keep your print files on hand so reorders match exactly.

Source: Commercial Wall Wraps in Las Vegas
Can I provide my own artwork?+

Yes. We accept print-ready PDFs, AI, and PSD files at full resolution. If your file isn't print-ready, our design team will get it there for a flat prep fee.

Source: Custom Wall Graphics for Businesses
Do you do design from scratch?+

Yes. Our in-house design team has produced wall graphics for casinos, restaurants, and Fortune 500 lobbies. Design is quoted separately so you only pay for what you need.

Source: Custom Wall Graphics for Businesses
What if I don't like it once it's up?+

We approve a printed proof and a digital mock on real photos before we install. Surprises don't happen. If something is genuinely defective, we reprint and reinstall at our cost.

Source: Custom Wall Graphics for Businesses
Can you match our brand colors exactly?+

Yes. We print to Pantone targets and proof on the actual substrate before production. We can also produce a wet proof on the wall material itself for sign-off.

Source: Office Wall Wraps & Branding
Will building management approve this?+

Most do, especially with removable film and a documented install plan. We've worked with the major Class A buildings in Vegas and can provide spec sheets your landlord will accept.

Source: Office Wall Wraps & Branding
How disruptive is the install?+

Minimally. A 100 sq ft conference wall is a single-evening install. Larger scope is phased over weekends. Most clients schedule a single 'wrap weekend' and walk in Monday to a transformed office.

Source: Office Wall Wraps & Branding
Can you help with seasonal design refresh, not just print?+

Yes. Many retail clients work with us on a design-print-install retainer that produces 4 campaigns a year on a fixed budget.

Source: Retail Store Wall Wraps
Can wraps go on storefront windows in summer?+

Yes, with the right material. We exclusively use heat-rated outdoor films for any sun-exposed surface in Vegas.

Source: Retail Store Wall Wraps
Do you do install for mall locations?+

Yes. We work in most Vegas malls and casino retail concourses, including off-hours installs to comply with tenant guidelines.

Source: Retail Store Wall Wraps
Can you print over outlets and switches?+

Yes. We die-cut around outlet covers or wrap directly over and our installer cuts on-site for a flush, sealed finish.

What's the largest mural you can install?+

We've installed full-room wraps over 4,000 sq ft. There's no practical upper limit — large murals are panelized and seamed by experienced installers so the joints are invisible.

Can I supply photography for the mural?+

Yes. We need at least 100 dpi at the final printed size — we'll tell you exactly what resolution you need based on your wall dimensions and viewing distance.

Wraps

How long do vehicle wraps last in Vegas heat?+

5–7 years with cast vinyl + premium laminate (3M IJ180Cv3 + 8519 gloss). 2–3 years with calendared vinyl or no laminate. Vegas UV is the hardest test in North America — material spec matters.

Can a wrap be removed without damaging the paint?+

Yes if the paint is factory-cured (3+ months old) and the wrap is removed within its rated lifespan. Removal on a freshly repainted vehicle can lift paint.
