Tension-fabric SEG: no glare in flash photography

Pipe-and-drape, free-standing frame, or pop-up

Why fabric beats vinyl on a step-and-repeat

Vinyl is cheaper, but it glares under flash and reads cheap in photos. Fabric SEG (silicone edge graphics) absorbs light, ships folded without creases, and looks premium in every shot. For anything posted to social, fabric is the only answer.

Logo grid that actually photographs well

Most step-and-repeats fail in photos because the logo is too small, the grid is too sparse, or the guest's head covers the only legible logo. Our default grid sizes the logo to ~50% of guest height with enough density that every cropped photo includes at least two visible logos. We test against framing before we proof.

Mounting options for Vegas venues

Pipe-and-drape kit for indoor venues (Wynn, Cosmo, Bellagio ballrooms). Free-standing aluminum frame for outdoor and pool-deck events. Pop-up retractable version for activations that move between rooms. All ship same week, all install in under 15 minutes.

Standard sizes and pricing anchor

8 ft x 8 ft step-and-repeat with frame and case: from $950. 10 ft x 8 ft for larger group photos: from $1,250. Custom widths (red-carpet runs up to 20 ft+) quoted by linear foot. Reorder fresh graphic skins for ~60% of first-order price.

Designing a step-and-repeat that photographs correctly+
Two rules decide everything: logo scale and tile density. Logos should be about half the height of a standing guest’s head-to-shoulder area, and staggered on a 20-30 degree offset so no cropped phone photo can miss them. Keep the background one flat brand color - gradients band under flash. Leave 6 inches of dead space at the bottom for the floor line, and never place a logo where two guests will stand.
Fabric vs. vinyl for press walls+
Tension fabric is the right call for almost every Vegas event: matte finish that kills flash glare, no wrinkles after transport, washable, and it packs into a case that fits a car trunk. Vinyl is cheaper up front but glares under photographer strobes and creases permanently at fold lines. Use vinyl only for outdoor mesh runs where wind load matters.
Venue logistics and mounting choices+
Indoor ballrooms at Wynn, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan usually have pipe rigging, so a pipe-and-drape kit is fastest. Pool decks, outdoor activations, and convention floors need a free-standing aluminum frame with weighted feet. Anything hung from a convention-center ceiling requires a rigging order through the venue - we file it with your show paperwork if needed.

Frequently asked

Step & Repeat Printing questions, answered

Don't see your question? Just ask.

What's the lead time on a step-and-repeat in Las Vegas?+

Standard is 5–7 business days from approved art. Rush 48-hour is available with a rush fee. Same-week emergency replacements have been turned in under 36 hours.

How much does a step-and-repeat cost?+

Standard 8x8 fabric step-and-repeat with frame and case starts at $950. 10x8 from $1,250. Custom red-carpet widths quoted per linear foot. Reorders ~60% of original price since the frame is reusable.

Will the logo read in photos?+

Yes - our default grid sizes logos to ~50% of guest height with enough tile density that every cropped photo includes at least two legible logos. We test the layout against actual phone framing before proofing.

Do you deliver and install at Vegas venues?+

Yes. Direct-to-venue delivery at every major Strip property and convention center. On-site setup available - most step-and-repeats install in under 15 minutes once at the venue.

Free-standing or pipe-and-drape?+

Free-standing aluminum frames for outdoor, pool-deck, and venues without pipe rigging. Pipe-and-drape for indoor ballrooms with existing rigging. We help pick based on your venue.

Can you turn one around in 48 hours?+

Yes - 48-hour rush is a regular service. We've turned step-and-repeats in 24 hours for last-minute red-carpet events. Call us with the deadline and we'll confirm what's possible.

What size should our step-and-repeat be?+

8x8 fits two to three people per photo and covers most sponsor and party walls. 10x8 is the pick for group shots, media lines, and award photos. Red-carpet arrivals with a photographer pit usually run 16-20 ft wide so the crop always lands inside the branding.
